The Iranian Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ISRAPM) is the subspecialty society of anesthesiology representing physicians practicing in the field of regional anesthesia and pain medicine.

As a medical specialty society, the Academy is involved in education, training, advocacy, and research in the subspecialty of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. The Iranian Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ISRAPM) was founded on July 4, 2007.

The first Annual Scientific Meeting of ISRAPM was held at the Rasoul-Akram Hospital in Tehran, June 27-28, 2008, and attended by 120 individuals, a great success then for this young organization.
